The vets and nurses at Vets on White Hart Lane successfully completed a sponsored climb up Snowdon in Wales on Sunday Oct 18th.
The team arrived back into London late on Sunday from an epic charity walk up and back down Mount Snowdon. It was a long and challenging weekend but we are delighted to have completed our aim. Thanks to your extremely generous and numerous donations we have raised over £2000 for TOLFA. AMAZING!! We left Barnes at 2pm after work on Saturday and arrived in North Wales in the early evening. We were up bright and early for our challenge and started the climb at 8.30am. Simon, Katy (who took the picture) Nadine, Nikki, Ali ,Rebecca, Marion, Indie (Marion's dog) and our two honorary members, Nathan and James took around 7 hours to conquer the mountain. We have a feeling there will be a few sore knees tomorrow! We are so proud of our team and so touched by the support and kindness of our wonderful clients.
We are desperate to raise money for TOLFA the small but powerful Indian charity we have supported for many years. They need a new steriliser for their surgical instruments as their current one (built in 1960!!) is not working well anymore. They have started to get an increase in post operative infections and we want to help.
Please sponsor us if you can. Here is the link - uk.virginmoneygiving.com - to their Virgin Giving page and please just mention us when you donate.
We are also collecting cash or cheques to TOLFA at the practice. Thank you to all the kind clients who have already donated xxx
